Athletics

A 400 metre running track (including water jump) with 6/8 lane straights together with associated field events and terraced seating for spectators. Available to the public, the athletics facilities are the home for the Horwich Harriers Athletics Club.

Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)

The UK's first synthetic carpet with a rubber bead surface in place of traditional sand. The synthetic surface can be used as a generous sized playing area or can be transformed into 4 smaller areas. It is suitable for a variety of sports including 5-a-side football, lacrosse and rugby.

All outdoor facilities are floodlit and offer a secure and landscaped setting with excellent seating for spectators and visitors.
