The magnificent £15 million sports and leisure complex sited in the Middlebrook Leisure and Retail Park, Bolton Arena opened to the public in April 2001.

Providing superb training facilities for talented athletes, sports clubs and the local community, Bolton Arena is a first-rate sports and leisure complex, which is accessible to all on a membership or ‘pay and play’ basis.

With a 9,000 capacity and 5,000sq metres of exhibition space, Bolton Arena is also an outstanding venue for sporting, entertainment and exhibition events. The Arena has already hosted the badminton competition of the 2002 Commonwealth Games and four of Amir Khan’s professional boxing matches.

Free parking is available for Bolton Arena customers. A three hour maximum stay applies. Parking arrangements for events may vary and charges may apply.
